5/31/14 Isaiah 9:3, 4 The Lord Will Multiply You

Isaiah 9:3, 4 (NAS)

Thou shalt multiply the nation, Thou shalt increase their gladness; They will be glad in Thy presence As with the gladness of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For Thou shalt break the yoke of their burden and the staff on their shoulders, The rod of their oppressor, as at the battle of Midian.

             Isaiah 9:3, 4 (NIVUS)

You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the plunder. For as in the day of Midian’s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor.

Are there certain people who bring great joy to your life?  Perhaps you are in a loving relationship, whether it is intimate or platonic, that blesses you more than you could express. Just being with that person brings a smile to your lips and a light to your eyes.

Did you know that your relationship with the Lord God should produce the same reaction? Adonai the Most High wishes to increase and multiply you in abundance.  He sees you excelling and becoming greater, for He has set aside plenty of provision to nourish you now and to keep in store for the future.

When you think of all that God has done and is doing, you have a measurable increase of joy.  Your heart fills with mirth and gladness.  When you come into the presence of the Lord, you come rejoicing, for He has given you a bountiful harvest.  You have no reason to grieve, mourn, or be discouraged. You will reap as a victorious army, gathering spoils of the battle.  The booty that you receive is a great portion and allotment.

Not only are you blessed materially, but you have also benefited in other ways.  The Lord your God has broken the yoke of abuse and pain that kept you beaten down and discouraged.  Your enemy used confusion and fear to chastise you.  It was a heavy load to bear, but Jehovah lifted that burden from your shoulders.  The rod that your oppressors used for punishment, to drive and harass you, has been abolished.  His tyranny over you is weak and useless now, for the Lord has rescued and delivered you from his brawling and contention.

Therefore, continue to rejoice in the Lord and the power of His might, for your harvest and deliverance are great indeed!

5/30/14 Matthew 5:10 Blessed Are Those Who Are Persecuted for the Sake of Righteousness

Matthew 5:10 (NAS)

"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

     Matthew 5:10 (Philips)
"Happy are those who have suffered persecution for the cause of goodness,
for the kingdom of Heaven is theirs!

Matthew 5:10 (BBE)
Happy are those who are attacked on account of righteousness:for the kingdom
 of heaven will be theirs.

When you submit to the Lord’s dealings in your life, looking forward to the changes He is making in you, you are happy and blessed. Suffering for your faith may not seem a pleasant way to be blessed, but it is one of God’s highest blessings! If you are being pursued in a hostile manner, rejoice. If you are being harassed, molested, troubled or mistreated for your faith in Jesus Christ, rejoice! Look to the Author and Finisher of your faith and continue to run the race with patience. You will reach your goal!

You have already been approved by God and your life displays integrity, virtue, purity, rightness and correct thinking, feeling, and acting. The Lord has made you innocent, faultless, and guiltless. You are being wholly conformed to the will of God. Not only are you being conformed to His will, but you also are being made into His likeness. You are looking like your Heavenly Father. That is why men who resist Him resist you. When they look at you, they see Him and they are condemned and judged, for they are of the world.

You, however, are not of the world. You are an heir and a joint heir with Christ. When men persecute you, rejoice for your Father has given you the Kingdom. He has given you the right and authority to rule in His domain. He has given you royal power and dignity. You are a leader of men and believing men follow in your footsteps, as you follow Christ. All of Heaven takes notice of you for you are one of its own!

5/29/14 Psalms 50:15 Call Upon the Lord in the Day of Trouble

Psalms 50:15

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me."

Psalms 50:15

and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me."

In this age of modern technology, there are few people who do not own cells phones.
Many have progressed to smart phones. Keeping in touch by voice or by text is a very
easy task and hardly any time elapses if the called party is available.

However, there is a means of communication available to you that is even more efficient and faster than your smart phone.  Of course, it is your communication with your Heavenly Father. You simply have to call out for help. Whether you cry aloud or speak to yourself, when you mention the name of the Lord, He will come to your aid. He will meet with you wherever or whenever you desire.

Perhaps when you call, it is a day or time period of trouble and distress.  You know you are being vexed by your enemy. He may have pressed you into a tight and narrow space. You seem bound up and harassed, with hard pebbles under your feet and flint walls surrounding you.

At this time, when you cry out to God, He will come swiftly to rescue and deliver you.  The Lord will set you free and plunder your enemy at the same time.  You will be invigorated and strengthened in God’s presence.  He will arm and equip you to stand firm against your foe.

When the Lord delivers and saves you, you will find it easy to honor Him.  You will not be dull, insensible, or unresponsive to what He has done for you. Your praises of thanksgiving will glorify God abundantly.

5/29/14 Matthew 5:9 Blessed Are the Peacemakers

Matthew 5:9 (ASV)

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.

Matthew 5:9 (Philips)

Happy are those who make peace, for they will be known as sons of God!

God always wants your highest. When you act as He acts, you are in the place to receive that highest good, which is includes happiness and prosperity.

God is a peacemaker. He has already made peace with mankind through His Son Jesus Christ. Sinful man was at war and separated from God. However, Jesus gave His life to bring men near to God again. Now they, who were once enemies, are able to become God's friends.

You are a peacemaker, helping to end strife and to establish harmony in relationships--those between God and man and those between man and man. You minister His shalom, His peace, to others, bringing wholeness into their lives and helping them to be made perfect. You have a spirit of reconciliation. You walk in peace!

Because you display God's peace-keeping nature to others, God calls you by His name and makes you His son. He loves you, protects you, and bestows benefits on you. You are His descendant, a part of His blood line, and His heir.

Therefore, continue to keep the peace and you will see God's best in your life!

5/28/14 Matthew 5:8 Blessed Are the Pure in Heart

Matthew 5:8 (BBE)
Happy are the clean in heart: for they will see God.

           Matthew 5:8 (NAS)
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Learning to be happy and knowing that you are blessed even when the Lord is pruning you is quite an accomplishment. He cleans up and purifies your life by cutting off the dead and useless things and sometimes by cutting off parts that are still green and alive. The latter are usually harder to understand and accept. Everything in your heart--your thoughts, desires, emotions, affections, purposes, understanding, intelligence, and will--cries out against it. God's purpose in this is that you will bear more fruit.

Even though you feel like you are going through fire, you are being cleansed of all corrupt desires, anything false, and all sin and guilt. You are becoming blameless and innocent in all things. You are finding freedom from the defilements of the flesh, the world, and every kind of contamination.

All this is necessary for the child of God, for Adonai is a Holy God.  His very essence is purity and cleanness. Your sinful nature cannot stand in His presence and live. So the Lord continually makes you pure and holy. All of this, which He does because He loves you, will allow you to see Him face to face. As your heart becomes purer, you are able to perceive, know and become acquainted with more facets of your Lord. Your experience in Him will continually deepen and you will direct more of your attention to Him.

There is no greater blessing than knowing Him!

5/27/14 Matthew 5: 7 Blessed Are the Merciful

Matthew 5: 7 (NAS)
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

             Matthew 5:7 (NIVUS)
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

God keeps sending blessings to His children, who have chosen Him as their Father. Like any children, God's children want to imitate their Father. God is merciful. He shows kindness and good will towards the miserable and afflicted. He desires to help them in any way He can. Men needed freedom from sin and in His mercy, God sent His Son Jesus to become sin for them so that they could become the righteousness of God in Him.

Like your Father, you extend mercy to others. You are kind and good to those who do not deserve it. You give help in whatever way that you can. You have a heart of compassion, feeling sympathy for those in misery.

Thus, when the Lord looks at you and sees your intentional acts of goodness and kindness to others, even when they hurt you, He has no other choice than to grant you the same mercy that you have shown. Receive His mercy, for He desires to bless you!

5/26/14 Psalms 77:11 Remember the Deeds of the Lord

Psalms 77:11(NAS)

I shall remember the deeds of the LORD; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.

Psalms 77:11(NIV)

I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.

On Memorial Day, we remember those who fought and gave their lives to protect our liberty.  This is a good and honorable thing to do.  However, there are other things that we need to remember as well.

When you remember something, you are recognizing its importance. You mark it and mention it to others, so that they also see its importance. You continually bring it to mind, keeping it alive in your thoughts and words. Perhaps you even write of it in a journal to have ready access to it.

David, in his role as a psalmist, continually wrote of the acts, doings, endeavors, inventions, and works of the Lord. He knew that everything that God does is wonderful and worth remembering. There is much to glean from these memories.

Remembering the deeds of the Lord was so important to David that he mentioned it twice in this one verse. He remembered the miracles and the marvelous things that the Lord had done for him. He knew they were worth separating them from his other thoughts, for they were great and admirable.
The acts of the God are everlasting and important for us to remember always.  Remembering what He has done will increase our faith and give us hope, when we are waiting on Him.  We know that He will come through for us again, since He has done so in the past.  We can trust His character and His intentions now.

5/26/14 Matthew 5:6 Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness

Matthew 5:6 (NAS)

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Matthew 5:6 (Philips)

Happy are those who are hungry and thirsty for true goodness, for they will be fully satisfied!

What a happy, blessed state -- desiring the True Bread and the Living Water!

You hunger for that Bread and suffer want if you do not have it. You crave for it ardently and eagerly seek and desire it. You know that if you do not have your daily ration, you shrivel and die.

Sometimes you are so dry and parched, feeling like sand that has the hot desert wind blowing forcefully over it. You are not just thirsty, but suffer thirst that is so painful that you earnestly long for refreshment for your soul. Just to have a small drink of that Living Water would strengthen and support you! You pant for that water, for you cannot live without it!

The Lord has made you righteous; you do not stand before Him in guilt and condemnation. He approves of you which causes you to rejoice. You, however, desire to display more integrity, more virtue, more purity, and more right thinking, feeling and acting. You teach and display the goodness of God!

There is good news for you! Because you have this insatiable hunger and thirst for the very word and presence of the Lord, you will be totally and completely satisfied. Your desire will always be fulfilled! You will eat the good of the land, which is Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah, the Bread of Life. Rivers of living water, originating in and from His Holy Spirit, will pour out of you to refresh others, as well as yourself!

How blessed you are!

5/25/14 Psalms 106:4, 5 The Lord Remembers You

Psalms 106:4, 5 (NAS)

Remember me, O LORD, in Thy favor toward Thy people; Visit me with Thy salvation, That I may see the prosperity of Thy chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, That I may glory with Thine inheritance.

Psalms 106:4, 5 (NLT)

Remember me, too, LORD, when you show favor to your people; come to me with your salvation. Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage.

The Lord Jesus always remembers you, for He has marked you as His own. He sits at the right hand of His Father and He intercedes for you. He mentions your name; He recounts and records all that you do for Him. The Lord is ever mindful of you and thinks well of you. He delights and takes pleasure in you.

He has satisfied the debt of sin that you owed, for He desired to bestow His favor upon you. The Lord God has accepted you; He approves of you and sets His affection on you. Through Jesus, you are pardoned and reconciled to God. You are of His tribe and His nation. You are Adonai's very own child.

When the Lord God visits you, He comes only with friendly intentions. He cares for you and has taken charge of your life. The Lord Jehovah continually makes deposits into your life, for He has saved and delivered you. Now you have victory, health, and prosperity through His aid. Because the Lord rescued you, He now keeps you safe and free. He is your defender. He has brought you into a wide and open place, where you will be preserved forever.

Now you behold Adonai's goodness daily, for He has made your life better. He desires to give you only from His best. You have seen His bounty, freely given to you. His provision puts you at ease and makes your countenance cheerful. Everything precious and sweet within God's treasures are yours for the asking. You enjoy His favor and His grace; you are His chosen one, whom He selected and appointed to join His family.

The Lord has brightened your face and He makes you rejoice. Gladness and mirth are normal aspects of your life. The Lord Jehovah has given you an inheritance; He has endowed you with property and possessions. He has allotted you a portion of His Kingdom, dividing and sharing it with you. This causes you to shine; you, therefore, boast and praise His glory, for He is worthy of all praise. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah!!

5/25/14 Matthew 5:5 Blessed Are the Meek

Matthew 5:5 (NAS)

Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:5 (NIVUS)

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

You are progressively and continuously blessed, happy, and favored of the Lord. You have chosen to accept His dealings with you as something good. You do not dispute or resist them. You rely totally and only on the Lord's strength and not your own. He defends you against injustice. Although evil circumstances and people come against you, Adonai the Most High God always uses them to purify you, His elect. And He always delivers you in His time, as you trust in God's goodness and control over every situation. You are becoming more meek and gentle of spirit, for your trust is in the Lord!

The Lord has made you His heir and a joint-heir with His Son Jesus Christ. You, therefore, receive as your own possession the lot that the Lord has reserved for you alone. He has granted you total and complete salvation. When Jesus returns and sets up His kingdom, you will have part of it as your very own inheritance. In Him you will rule and reign!

5/24/14 Psalms 118:19 The Gates of Righteousness Are Open to You

Psalms 118:19 (NAS)

Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to the LORD.

Psalms 118:19 (NLT)

Open for me the gates where the righteous enter, and I will go in and thank the LORD.

You used to be dead and in a grave because of the sin in your life. But God did not leave you in that state. Like Lazarus, the Lord Jesus called you out of the grave and gave you new life. He loosed you from your grave clothes and let you go free. He then opened wide the gates and doors of His city to you.

When you chose to go through the gates, Adonai bestowed righteousness on you, making you right. He cleared your record of any wrong doing, for justice had already been rendered through Jesus's blood sacrifice. You were now legally able to enter into the blessings of God and to receive the prosperity that He desired to give you.

In all of this you have no other recourse except to throw up your hands in worship to the Most High God. In reverence, you confess, praise, and give thanksgiving to Him. When you open your hands before the Lord in adoration, He fills them with His bounty. You, then, are able to draw strength from the Lord of Hosts. Therefore, continue to yield yourself to the One who freed you and put you before a wide open gate!

5/24/14 Matthew 5:4 Blessed Are Those Who Mourn

Matthew 5:4 (NAS)

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

               Matthew 5:4 (Philips)

How happy are those who know what sorrow means, for they will be given courage and comfort!

The blessing of the Lord is progressive; He does not stop blessing those He loves, those who receive His plan of salvation in Jesus, His Son. The blessed man is fully satisfied in Him.

Even the man, who has been in mourning, who has suffered sadly or who has been in a bad plight, is blessed when he turns to the Lord. The one who is sorrowful and grieving is blessed in the Lord. The one who experiences the pain of his sin and failure is blessed as he acknowledges these to the Lord.

Whether a man is grieving outwardly with passionate lamentation or inwardly in silence, the Lord will call him to His side to console, to encourage, to strengthen and to comfort him. When he cries for help, the Lord invites him to partake of God's infinite blessings!

5/23/14 Psalm 147: 13, 14 The Lord Strengthens Your Gates and Blesses Your Sons

Psalm 147: 13, 14 (NAS)

For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you.He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.

Psalm 147: 13, 14 (NLT)

For he has fortified the bars of your gates and blessed your children within you. He sends peace across your nation and satisfies you with plenty of the finest wheat.

Adonai the Lord fastens Himself to you and makes you strong and courageous. He has repaired and fortified your weak points, placing strong bars and bolts over your gates. There is no opening or door that cannot restrain your enemies from entering, for God has made you a conqueror. He will encourage you and establish you, so that you stand constant. You will hold fast, for the Lord has hardened you against any onslaughts. You will not melt away like wax in the heat of the battle. You will behave valiantly, giving glory to God.

Even before your children were born, they were blessed within you, because the Lord has blessed you. The abundance that you experience also belongs to them. They will continue to build your family name after you. Like you, they will also be fruitful and multiply.

You need not fear, for the Lord God Almighty has marked the border of your territory with peace. He has bound health and prosperity to all of your space. He has set landmarks all about you to keep you safe and well. His favor rests upon you and you are restored completely. He has made you whole.

In every area of your life, you are full and satisfied. You always have plenty of the riches that Adonai has to offer. Your storehouses are filled to overflowing with the best and the finest grain. God only gives you His choicest part and you grow fat with what He gives!

5/23/14 Matthew 5:3 Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit

Matthew 5:3 (NAS)

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

            Matthew 5:3 (Philips)

How happy are those who know their need for God, for the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Before Jesus Christ came into your life, you were a beggar. You were destitute of wealth, influence, position and power. You were lowly and afflicted, helpless and powerless to accomplish an end. You were poor in spirit, but now you are a happy and blessed.

Now you are a child of God, You have been born again of royalty. The Lord has made you the child of a king. You have been given dominion, rule, and authority in His Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven!

Therefore, rule with wisdom and gentleness!

5/22/14 Psalms 143:9, 10 You Are Delivered From Your Enemies

Psalms 143:9, 10 (NAS)

Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; I take refuge in Thee. Teach me to do Thy will, For Thou art my God; Let Thy good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Psalms 143:9, 10 (NLT)

Save me from my enemies, LORD; I run to you to hide me. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

You have put your trust in Adonai, the Almighty God and you know that He has saved and delivered you from your enemies. However, did you know that when He delivered you, He did much, much more? Not only did He snatch you out of the hands of your opponents, but He also stripped and plundered them of their spoils. When He rescued you, He also recovered everything that your captors had taken from you. Then the Lord Jehovah restored all of those goods and possessions to you, so that you became completely whole again.

To stay free from these foes, you know that you need to depend on Jehovah. You constantly need to run to Him to hide and conceal you. He has covered and clothed you with His own robe of righteousness. When your enemies look towards you, they see the light of His righteousness on you and they think that they have come up against the Lord God once again. Remembering what He did to them previously, they are overwhelmed and flee away in terror.

Even though you have been saved, you now need to learn the ways of your Savior. Ask Him to teach and train you in what gives Him pleasure. He will show you how to do what is acceptable to Him and you will soon be doing His will in all things. When you are determined to always act the way Adonai wants, then you will always satisfy Him in everything.

The Almighty is your God and He has breathed His own Spirit on you. Because He is good and excellent, you know that He will never lead you astray. Instead He will guide you into what is appropriate and becoming. In His kindness He will bring you into a level and even land. There you will stand straight and your path will be smooth. Your uprightness will be obvious to those who observe your life; many will esteem and approve of you. All of this will be yours as you continue to acknowledge Adonai, the one true God as your God.

5/22/14 2 Timothy 1:9 You Are Called With a Holy Calling

2 Timothy 1:9 (NAS)

Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Even before you were born, God had a plan and purpose for your life. He wrote of you in His book before your substance was formed and He planned for your rescue and salvation before the foundation of the earth.

Through His Son Jesus Christ, He rescued you from danger and destruction to keep you safe and sound forever in His Kingdom. He provided for your healing and health, so that you would not have to suffer and so that you would not perish. He made you whole and complete!

Then He called out your name and invited you to become His child, through the blood of His Only Begotten Son!  When you responded, He gave you His name, adopting you into His family. He gave you the authority of His name and you received a royal title!

He has cherished and fostered you with tender care. He has made you holy, setting you apart for Himself. He has made you pure, cleansing you of every fault. He has separated you from every evil and defilement.

He did not do this because of what you have done. None of your works or endeavors could bring you to a place of salvation. But for His own purpose and design, He saved you and called you. He has determined to expose you to public view, so that those who look upon you will see His grace manifested. He has shown you good will, loving kindness, mercy and favor. He has filled your life with joy and made you His pleasure and His delight! Under His hand you have thrived.

All of this was His gift to you, which He bestowed upon you freely. Through Jesus Christ, your Messiah, you have become a citizen of the Kingdom of God. And all of this was established from eternity! Your future is secure in Him!

5/21/14 Psalms 65:9 As God Takes Care of the Earth, So He Takes Care of You

Psalms 65:9 (NAS)

Thou dost visit the earth, and cause it to overflow; Thou dost greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; Thou dost prepare their grain, for thus Thou dost prepare the earth.

            Psalms 65:9 (NLT)

You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The rivers of God will not run dry; they provide a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.

You know that Almighty God is the Creator; the heavens and the earth belong to Him. What you might not understand is that the Lord God often visits His creation. He comes to oversee and care for the earth and everything on it.  As a part of His creation, you should understand that Adonai cares for you also. He wants to deposit good things into your life. He is committed to providing for your every need. He has made the earth firm beneath your feet and sends abundant water to continue the cycle of life. Through Him, you have an overflow.

One of God's main desires is that you continue to grow and increase. He wants to multiply you and to see you wax rich.  As you give your tithe, a tenth of your income, to help further the Kingdom of God, you will begin to accumulate more; you will abound exceedingly. Soon rivers and streams of blessing and life from God will flow onto your lands. Then, you will find that you are full and furnished for everything.

The Lord God has already prepared this increase for you.  As a fish spawns many offspring, so too shall your blessings become numerous. The Lord has moved rapidly to provide all of the corn and wheat that you need. You will never lack for grain. You are now established, fixed, and becoming more prosperous day by day.  Therefore, stand fast in this certainty.

5/21/14 Philippians 3: 8 Count All As Loss, But Knowing Jesus Christ as Gain

Philippians 3: 8 (NAS)

More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ,

               Philippians 3:8 (Philips)

Yes, and I look upon everything as loss compared with the overwhelming gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I did in fact suffer the loss of everything, but I considered it mere garbage compared with being able to win Christ.

After careful consideration and deliberate judgment, you have decided to live your life for the Lord Jesus Christ, yielding to Him in all things. Everything else, in comparison to Him, is of no value. If you lost it all, but still had Jesus Christ, then you would have all that you would ever need.

He is above all, superior in rank, authority and power. You have seen His excellence and have been joined to Him. You cling to and adhere to Him. You need Him; He is necessary for you to live. He is your salvation.

Daily you grow in your knowledge of Jesus Christ, the anointed One. Through your personal experience, you understand Him more and more. Your increased insight into His word causes you to have a close intimate relationship with Yeshua. You belong to Him. He is your Master and Lord. He decides what is best for you.

You may have suffered injury or damage, but this is as nothing. It is refuse, rubbish, worthless, and detestable, for you have gained Christ. You have received His favor and His fellowship. You have escaped evil and have obtained faith.  He has won you over to His Kingdom forever!

5/20/14 Psalms 25:8, 9 God Instructs Sinners and Leads the Humble

Psalms 25:8, 9 (NAS)

Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.

          Psalms 25:8, 9 (NLT)

The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.  He leads the humble in what is right, teaching them his way.

Jehovah, the Lord, is good and excellent.  He is kind and understanding.  In Him you will find all of the happiness, joy, and prosperity that you need.   He makes your life pleasant and agreeable. All that makes you well and bountiful is found in Him. You are His dearly beloved.  He esteems you and shows you His favor.

Everything that Adonai does is always correct and upright. He is just, proper, and straight-forward. He is righteous and leads you in the straight path that you should go.  He approves of you and has made you right with Him.  With Him your way is smooth.

Although you used to sin and miss the right way, the Lord now teaches and instructs you.  He pours out His word upon you as He pours out the rain. He has purified you from all uncleanness and you no longer incur guilt.  Now as you tread forth on your journey, you do not wander from the road, for God Almighty shows you how to go.

You are humble and meek before Jehovah, for you know that without Him, you are weak, poor, and needy. By yourself, you are afflicted and wretched.  However, you have discovered that the Lord guides you to make just decisions. He has given you the power to rule and govern. You are able to do this because He has taught you His ways, instructing you in what is right, proper, and fitting.
